2009 Hong Kong Inline Cup
The 2009 Hong Kong Inline Cup held from 11 November to 22 November 2009 is sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Roller Sports (F.I.R.S.) and Comite International du Roller In Line Hockey (CIRILH), supported by the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Hong Kong Roller Sports Federation, Hong Kong YMCA and operated by the Hong Kong, China Inline Hockey Association Limited. The Hong Kong Inline Cup is the largest open inline hockey tournament in Asia.
This is our 9th year running with increasing numbers of international inline teams participating. Last year teams and players came from United States, Canada, Iran, United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, Venezuela, Macau, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Despite the global recession we have received expressions of interest from many new teams from all over the world. The emphasis is great competition, food, sight seeing and "discover a diverse modern metropolis steeped in unique blends of Eastern and Western traditions - only Hong Kong!"
